Terrific! I'm very jealous of those images, I wish I could do as well.Those photos took a lot of talent to produce, well done. I've bookmarked this site.

You have to be confident and convey to strangers that you know what you're doing, while saying you're only a student, so they'll be glad to help. Just be honest and try to read their body language and preempt their questions before it's asked ("no, I won't post it online, it's just for class", etc).

If you fidget too much or are too nervous, they'll pick up on that and won't be as willing to commit their time.

If you're a guy trying to take picture of kids at a park, parents will generally be nervous. If you're a girl, they tend to be a bit more receptive. Just approach adults as if you are about to ask for the time, and tell something nice about them, like why you're photographing them ("Excuse me, I noticed you have a really cool hat, can I photograph you really quick to test out my camera for photography class?")

<a href="http://darkmonk.digitalpho.hop.clickbank.net/" rel="nofollow">Photograhy Help</a>

it depends on where you are for the photos... someplaces do limit photography {depending on what theyre near.. in my personal experiance, anywhere near a military facility is a BIG nono}

if they tell you to move on, then move on...also, some places you need permits - like our park, you need a permit, so the borough can cover there back, in case of a lawsuit...wooo

If the police stop you and say no professional photography, tell him that your not a professional. Im just a student doing a class project. I think its kind a weird asking stranger to pose for you.. Why don't you bring your friends along and ask them to pose for you.
